Our new Security & Emergency Management Track is designed for you to keep your school at the forefront of emergency planning. Industry experts, officers from the New York State Police and county managers will provide best practices on improving your situational awareness during uncertain situations, and educate you on what your school is and is not capable of. No matter if you're new to the field or a seasoned professional, this program is right for you.
Managers' Academy Track features architects from the NYSED’s Office of Facilities Planning presenting the “Technical and Systems” session, and the New York State Police presenting the “All Hazard School Emergency Planning” session. In addition, the Manager’s track covers health and safety, school fire safety inspections, school energy management, budgeting and civil service law. This track is designed for school facilities professionals relatively new to the field.
