The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) and the School Facilities Management Institute (SFMI) are proud to launch our Energy Webcast series! We begin this exciting new training opportunity with the summer's Energy 101: Tools, Tips & Tricks program. This timely, thorough training program is now available to view whenever you have time.

This online training program includes the video of presenter Don Fudge, his comprehensive slide show and interactive tools to help you calculate potential savings. To make your training experience more efficient and convenient, the program is grouped by topic. This allows you to only view sections of interest, or break up it up into several mini training events. This is a great training tool for your next staff meeting, so gather your employees together and get energy smart!

Meet the Presenter

Don Fudge joined TRC Energy Services in February to be a Project Manager helping the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) promote the New York High Performance Schools Guidelines - NY-CHPS. Don majored in architecture, but entered the education field and spent 25 years in schools - from teaching to being the Headmaster of three schools. During 11 years as a consultant, Don helped schools with space and facilities planning and developed and taught a five-day course on developing a comprehensive maintenance plan for school facility managers.

Don spent the last three years with Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships working with the High Performance Schools Exchange and the Building Operator Certification program. Don has made presentations on energy efficiency planning and technologies to school business officials, facility managers and architects of the Massachusetts Division of Capital Assets Management.  As a TRC consultant he is familiar with the NY Benchmarking program and the Comprehensive Maintenance Planning Tool.
